According to statistics released by the Japan Iron & Steel Federation (JISF), the country’s output of galvanized steel sheets totaled 10.07 million tons in the January-October period, rising by 2.23% year on year.
In October, the country’s production of galvanized steel sheets totaled 1.03 million tons, down by 1.73% month on month but rising by 5.62% year on year.
In the January-October period, Japan’s shipments of galvanized steel sheets totaled 9.86 million tons, down by 2.16% year on year.
Among them, 69.32% were made to domestic market and 30.68% were to export markets.
