Baosteel Engineering & Technology Group has adopted the method of "Production+Installation" to take over 5 steel structure bridges in the eighth China Flower Expo for the first time, and completed all the work of the contract a few days ago. It means that Baosteel Engineering has possessed the capacity to produce and install various kinds of bridges of different shapes, complicated structure, larger span and highly technical difficulty.
The eighth China Flower Expo shall be formally inaugurated by the side of West Taihu Lake in Wujin City of Changzhou in Jiangsu Province on 28th, September of this year. The 5 bridges of different styles and unique shapes are the main transportation junction to connect all the scenic spots.
From the middle of April of last year to February of this year, Baosteel Steel Structure of Baosteel Engineering completed the field installation of all the bridges strictly according to the prescribed requirements of the contract and also completed the subsequent finishing work of the project and the newly-added subsidiary structure engineering tasks in the middle of May of this year. At present, 3 bridges have realized the take-over and acceptance and the take-over of the rest 2 bridges are in progress.
